Jalapa, Guatemala                       "We have recently conducted a very successful evangelistic campaign.  We had a total of 82 families that were involved.  We believe that we have planted sufficient seeds in order to have a future harvest and a good foundation for the ministry. In our services on Sundays, we have Bible teaching, prayer, worship through song and the Lord's supper.  We also pray for those who have needs, for the ministry, for the church and for the lost souls around us. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights we have home Bible studies throughout the city.  Also on Thursday nights we have a musical/drama program for children.  On Fridays, the youth have their Bible study and fellowship. We are excited about having our own property and church building where we can all meet together as a family.  We are praying in 2008, that the ministry will grow in spirit and in number and that we will begin to develop a strong leadership.  Over the last couple of months, we have had 5 families join the church.  One of the families involved a broken marraige that has now been restored.  Both have given their life over to Christ.  Many Blessings to you"      Joaquin Dardon
