In 1991, Disciple Makers began a church plant in the 2nd largest city of Honduras, San Pedro Sula. The goal of this church plant was to establish a vibrant, indigenous and reproducing church with national leadership and support. Today, the church is led by national leaders. They have also begun to establish missions of their own within Honduras and have taken several mission trips to help spread the Gospel throughout their own country.

Julio Corea has pastored at the Iglesia Cristiana since the beginning of the church in the early 1990's. Julio's wife, Victoria, teaches at the New Generation Bilingual Christian Academy. Julio and Victoria have 2 sons (Jonathan and Julito).

 Freddy & Xiomara Rodriguez
Freddy has pastored at the Iglesia Cristiana since 1996. Freddy and his wife, Xiomara also served at the Iglesia Cristiana in La Ceiba. Freddy and Xiomara have 3 children (Damaris, Elsy & Josue).
